How to Fix a Torn or Broken Fingernail:
To fix a broken fingernail, all you would need to have is a fast-bonding glue such as Super-Glue, scissors, filer andatea bag. Here are steps to fix a torn or broken fingernail:
  • Remove the nail polish using a nail polish remover. Now clean your nail gently by washing it in warm soapy water
  • Take some Super Glue or quick bonding glue with a toothpick. Apply this along the broken nail and gently press the broken nail parts together.
  • Tea bags contain bags are made up of strong natural fibers to hold the tea leaves and they can be effective to patch broken fingernails. For this, cut the tea bag material from the side in the form of a patch. Make sure the patch covers the broken area of the nail
  • Take some Super Glue and spread it over the patch. Now, adjust the patch over the broken nail area and wait until it dries or hardens
  • Cut the excess tea bag material usingscissors. Use a nail file to smoothen the edges of your nail
  • Wash your nail and polish it to conceal the broken nail
  • Over time the broken nail will grow out
Avoid using nail polish remover on the broken nail as it can soften the glue. Broken nails can be annoying and make sure you avoid further tears by fixing them properly.
